Greater Kashmir started its operation as a weekly newspaper in 1987, and was the first English-language newspaper published in the Kashmir Valley. After its successful operation as weekly newspaper, Greater Kashmir switched to daily publication in the year 1993 and became the Kashmir’s largest circulated daily newspaper providing the most comprehensive coverage and up-to-the-minute news and information on Kashmir Valley particularly Jammu & Srinagar.
